Sawmill BBQ Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant hidden in Cahokia, IL. In 2017, St. Louis couple, Steve and Vicki Will, bought the renovated barn-turned-restaurant and has grown it to become a smoked meat and bbq staple in and around St. Louis. Best known for their tender sliced brisket and baby back ribs, all Sawmill meats are dry rubbed and slow smoked in-house and served with your choice of one of our four homemade bbq sauces: sweet bbq, hot bbq, Carolina mustard, and white bbq.
In March 2023, Sawmill BBQ launched their second location, Sawmill BBQ Pub and Grill. With a full bar open until midnight, their menu includes even more mouthwatering dishes featuring their infamous smoked meats. Come try favorites like the Brisket Philly or Smoked Turkey Wrap with house-made Mayfair dressing or give our Hot Italian Pizza or BBQ Chicken Pizza a shot.
In April 2026, the Sawmill name expanded into St. Charles, MO, at the Yacht Club of St. Louis. Stop in for a patio seat overlooking the Missouri River or join us for a night of live music and crisp cocktails. It's a "boatload" of good food and times you don't want to miss.
